Those air horns on the various Ferraris you’ve tested recently sound absolutely wonderful and should be standard on all cars. It’s a classic sound, bordering on the musical, that needs to make a return. I’m even tempted to throw a set on my Mazda for the nostalgia.
I still remember the Fiat 124 Spider my mom bought in 1976 and how sweet those horns sounded. The car was a horribly unreliable piece of crap, but it looked good, sounded great (both the engine and the horns), and had that terrific wood dash.

I loved his articles on Jalopnik, but stopped watching his videos.
And to the subject of air horns: Yes, they generally sound way better than their modern counterpart. they are more expensive and more prone to failure though

if these weren’t so big I’d try to find a way to mount them on my Ranger.

up until the ‘90s I believe Cadillacs had triple chime horns.
Such luxury!

When you live in Italy, when cars use their horns more than they use any other function, it’s probably worth getting a sweet horn. Where I am it is used far more often because people are idiots, but still rarely enough that you might forget it was there.

I drowned mine a couple of years ago and got along fine for ages until it was time for a safety inspection. Going without really taught me to be a more patient driver...
